[R] A very simple question

Try this:

k=c(1,1,1,2,2,1,1,1)

 > k[(k!=1)]
[1] 2 2

 > k[(k!=2)]
[1] 1 1 1 1 1 1

 > k[(k!=3)]
[1] 1 1 1 2 2 1 1 1
