count.reps <- function(df) {
   hash  <- do.call("paste", c(df, sep = "\r"))
   cbind(unique(df), Freq = unclass(table(hash)))
}

test <- data.frame(a = rep(1:10, 2), b = rep(1:10, 2))
count.reps(test)
