Yes, the message says the grouping factor is missing.
But xx should not be a matrix.
Your x data should be in a (1-dimensional) vector of length 276, and so should your grouping factor.
Toy example:
x<-rnorm(9)
g<-factor(paste("Group",rep(1:3, each=3)))
