[R] things that are difficult/impossible to do in SAS or SPSS butsimple in R

How would one do

  > hist(rnorm(300),freq=FALSE,xlim=c(-4,4),main="")
  > curve(dnorm(x),c(-4,4),col="red",add=TRUE)

in SAS or SPSS?  Maybe it's equally easy --- but I doubt it.
