[R] Combine x-axis labels size

Whoops, typo in my previous post:

x <- 1:10
y <- x
plot(x, y, ann=F, xaxt="n")
axis(1, lab=F) -> positions
mtext(paste(positions), side = 1, line = 1, outer = F, at = positions,
cex=seq(1, 9, length=length(positions)))

Is this what you mean by label sizes?
