Try:
require(lattice)
trellis.device(theme = standard.theme("x11")) # new device
data(iris)
print(cloud(Sepal.Length ~ Petal.Length * Petal.Width, data = iris,
groups = Species, screen = list(z = 20, x = -70),
<...>
There is some history involved here that I won't go into (but is
briefly alluded to in ?trellis.device).
