[R] Smoothing 3 D data

Hey. I have a set of data points (x1,y1,z1;
x2,y2,z2;...........................xn,yn,zn). I need to smooth these in 3D.
For example if these were in 2 D then one would use inverse distance
weighting or moving averages. Does anyone know of any funtion in R that can
be used to do this (Using 3D data as mine)?
