[R] RMySQL NA/NULL value storage error

I have the R 2.5.0, RMySQL 0.6 , and DBI 0.2-3 on Linux and don't get this
problem.

What do you get running 

>  str(x)

>  dbGetQuery(test,"describe x")
   Field   Type Null Key Default Extra
 1    X1 double  YES        <NA>
 2    X2 double  YES        <NA>
 3    X3 double  YES        <NA>
 4    X4 double  YES        <NA>

>  dbGetInfo(test)$serverVersion
 [1] "5.0.41"
