[R] Monotonic interpolation

Not if Mr. excalibur really want interpolating (as oppose to 
smooting) splines.  Other than linear, I'm not even sure if 
it can be done (though I'm no expert on this).

One possibility is to use the cobs package and play with
the amount of smoothing...
