[R] How to create an R RPM from source

I should have said that I do have root privileges.  I said I wasn't a
system administrator to indicate that I don't deal with installation
issues on a regular basis, and so am not real familiar with the tools.
(Thanks for the reply, Russ.  The materials look promising.)
