[R] Inf values in a matrix

try the following:
mat <- matrix(rnorm(40), 10, 4)
mat[sample(20, 5)] <- Inf
mat
##########
index <- rowSums(!is.finite(mat)) >= 1
mat. <- mat[!index, ]
which(index)
mat.
