[R] Conflict between julian from base and from chron

Perhaps you can provide an example of your problem.
The session below is from R 2.2.1 on Windows XP. The base
contains a generic and Date and POSIXt methods
whereas chron currently contains a default method
so in principle they can all coexist.

[1] julian.Date julian.default* julian.POSIXt
