[R] frequency() source code

This depends on how you constructed your time series in the
first place.  If you do it like this:

x <- ts(1:10, freq = 4)
frequency(x)

then frequency will be 4.

Also, note that the zoo package contains a yearqtr class which
may or may not be of interest to you.
