[R] Interpolate a matrix z=f(x,y)

Hi all,


I want to interpolate a matrix as function of its row and column
coordinates, i.e.
{u,v,w}=spline2d(x,y,z...)
Where u & v are the new coordinates values and w the matrix extrapolated
