[R] install package "snow"

Hi,

I have difficulty in installing package "snow" from
CRAN. Somehow, this package is not shown up in the
available package list when I tried to use the GUI
interface. So I have to go to CRAN to download the
source file: snow_0.2-1.tar.gz. Then I tried to
install it using the following command:

> install.packages(repos=NULL, pkgs='C:\Documents and
Settings\Desktop\snow_0.2-1.tar.gz', type='source',
lib = 'c:/program files/r/rw2010/library/')

Warning message:
installation of package 'C:Documents and
Settingsyzhang24Desktopsnow_0.2-1.tar.gz' had non-zero
exit status in: install.packages(repos = NULL, pkgs =
"C:Documents and
Settingsyzhang24Desktopsnow_0.2-1.tar.gz",  

What's the problem here, and how should I handle it?
