[R] How to convert a list to a matrix

Hello,

try the following :

> l <- list(NULL)
> l[[1]] <- 1:2
> l[[2]] <- 2:3
> l[[3]] <- 4:5
> l
[[1]]
[1] 1 2

[[2]]
[1] 2 3

[[3]]
[1] 4 5

> matrix(unlist(l),ncol=2)
     [,1] [,2]
[1,]    1    3
[2,]    2    4
[3,]    2    5


Is that what you want ?
