Hi.

I am trying to install R-2.1.0 under a Sun platform.

I used tar and then when I type

./configure MAKE=gmake I get the following error:

configure: error: --with-readline=yes (default) and headers/libs are
not available

I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

Best regards,
Cristian Pasarica, Ph.D.
