[R] how to draw an overlaid plot for multiple curves usingdifferent symbols for each curve?

Hi, Thanks all (Andrew, Peter, Sean)!

By the way, I looked at the "xyplot" in lattice library. It can draw "a"
versus "b", conditioned on "c". But it draws curves in different panels and
there seems no control on symbols.

I will try "points".

Many thanks again,

Sun
