[R] italian keyboard and ~ symbol

Before using the sequence
<Press-Alt> + Num1 + Num2 + Num6 + <Release-Alt>
one has to make sure that the numeric keyboard is in NumLock mode,
not in cursor mode.
If it is in cursor mode, this trick will not work
(at least it does not on my machine)
