[R] access R remotely

This likely means that either R is not installed on that machine or the 
R binary is not in your PATH. : try asking your IT guy where R is 
installed... say Mr.IT.Guy says that R is installed in /usr/local/bin... 
then

/usr/local/bin/R

to start R...
