[R] how to update R

Dear Renaud,
Unless there's some other problem (such as failure to install the
mvtnorm package, on which multcomp depends), there is no need to panic:
the message is simply a warning.
Since a new version of R (1.9.0) is imminent, you may want to update to
that when it arrives.
