[R] restarting split.screen (solved)

Ok, after realizing that even restarting R did not work, I found the
solution to my problem:
> grep("split",ls(all=T),value=T)
[1] ".split.cur.screen" ".split.par.list" ".split.saved.pars"
[4] ".split.screens" ".split.valid.screens"
> rm(list=grep("split",ls(all=T),value=T))
Sorry for the waste of bandwidth...
