[R] shuffling a vector

Sampling is a more statistical expression for what you are trying to 
da and I guess something like

R> letters[1:5]
[1] "a" "b" "c" "d" "e"
R> sample(letters[1:5])
[1] "a" "c" "d" "e" "b"

is what you want.
