[R] configuration error when installing gtkDevice

Dear all,

when I try to install gtkDevice on Mandrake Linux 9.1 (R v. 1.7.1), I get
the following comfiguration error (see below).

Has anyone else had this problem?
Any hints are greatly appreciated.
