[R] pipes in R

Unfortunately, I do not know about pipes as you mentioned.  But you may use
pipes in filenames as

plot(...)
dev.copy2eps(file="|lpr -Pfoo")

or something like that.  Be aware that using a wrong (nonexistent) command with pipe
kills R 1.5.1 (I suppose not 1.6.0).
