[R] case-cohort sampling

I don't know if this does exactly what you want but look at the Hmisc library find.matches and matchCases functions:  

http://hesweb1.med.virginia.edu/biostat/s/help/Hmisc/html/find.matches.html

You may be able to modify them for what you want.
