[R] R-1.5.0: compiling package foreign on WinNT failed

Dear R-help,

I was able to build R-1.5.0 on WinNT w/o problem (actually it seems easier
than previous version).  However, I encountered problem when trying to
compile the recommended package foreign:

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?  configure.win is there, and all it
does is copying two files in src from .h.in to .h.
