[R] system in windows

i want to call
"c:/Program Files/Netscape/Communicator/Program/netscape.exe"
with system
but
system("c:/Program Files/Netscape/Communicator/Program/netscape.exe")
does not work because of the blank.

system('"c:/Program
Files/Netscape/Communicator/Program/netscape.exe"',wait=FALSE)
works exactly like i want.

when i set
options(browser="c:/Program
Files/Netscape/Communicator/Program/netscape.exe")

how can i manipulate the result of
getOption("browser")

so that i get a string which will work with the system command?
