[R] Log Window

Does R have a log window that will tell me how much
time the software spent in implementing a procedure? 
For example, suppose I want to do regression with 100
thousand observations over 100 independent variables.
I need to find out how much time R will spend in
implementing its regression procedure with these
parameters.
