[R] Re: R-plots with 'complex' axis-labelling

Try this sort of thing:

plot(..., xlab='vdot', ...)

and then, in the LaTeX document,

\usepackage{psfrag}
...
\begin{figure}
\psfrag{vdot}{$\dot{V}$}
\epsfig{...}
\end{figure}
