[R] readline/R

I am trying to get readline working in R to avoid retyping commands.
I have compliled both readline and R on my work station. Although the
compilation shows (see below) that readline is supported, it
doesn't really work. I would appreciate any tips on how to get it to work.

R is now configured for sparc-sun-solaris2.7
