[R] Problem with get.hist.quote (tseries library)....

I've traced this to a problem changing locales on Windows (it was in the
bugs database as PR#1116, BTW) and committed a fix to R-patched (soon to
be 1.5.1).
It only occurred
- in a non-English locale
- on platforms without strptime
- but with locale support.
and there setting an English locale before starting R should have worked
(and did for me on WinXP). But who knows about obselete versions of
Windows?
