Hi ,
thank you all for the different reply's.
Perhaps the group of interested "PHP & R" people should find a way for
more detailed
discussion on another place so that other r-help user feel not troubled !?

My idea is to develope a "Online-Reporting-Tool" in PHP first with this
features.

(1) Connection to Mysql
(2) Connection to SPSS (ODBC), because sometimes it is nice to have
an "use.value.labels.T (read.spss)" table sometimes not !
(3) (Segmentation-Tool) One or more "selection-list's" which get the
different options
form a MySQL Variable i.e. a list of more than 100 countrys........
(4) StatisticProcedures
(calculate special mean's , recode this to discrete value's and use it
as SVG-graphic initialization
( see my "posting" form 03.06) later more, but i like start with easy
things !
(5) Graphic Features (first,boxplots ???)

Patrick when you think my intentions are similar to yours, it would be
nice when
i get your code and i'm interested for the extension from "Joe Conway", too.

I structure my ideas this weekend and begin with the basics PHP codings -
my bisggest problem until now is , i don't know when i should use
R, because grouped mean's etc. are possible to calculate in PHP, but i
think
there is a point where it is easier to combine, perhaps for plotting and
sure for multivariate procedures.

P.S.
A very nice free tool for MySQl Users (Windows) you get here:

regards,
Christian
