I am not an R-developer, just a user...
Therefore I don't know anything about Quartz and Quartz support.

  the current development version of R does not build in my
environment. Is a compiled/packed version with Quartz support on the
net somewhere? Is quartz() the right incantation?

him to pass his patches to Duncan.
