[R] Hello & a simple question

Hello again,
	thanks for the input.  The CRAN / documentation / contrited section
	proved very useful. I found the `Simple R' by J. Verzani especially
	enlightening, and also containing the `Simple' package with
	exactly those functions I needed at the moment.
