[R] problems with CarbonLib

I do not know as much about running this version of R as the real 
experts here, so I am not certain--but I think you need to upgrade 
from OS 9.0.4 to the most recent version of OS 9. If it were my 
machine, that is what I would do. (And just in case, you might 
double-check, and make sure you got the version of R that runs on OS 
9)
