[R] nnet

..i work  in my university-time with the 1.0 Version (..the package is 
openSource but run's on the commercial software Matlab).

And i think that's a interesting toolbox for  "NN & TimeSeries Analysis" 
; sorry that's not R, but perhaps
a good starting point to adapt something like this in R-project ?

The above link is a binary distribution for linux. In principle, the package is also available in source code form, but then you need Numerical Recipes in C, to get the full source code. However, I have to warn you. I didn´t work for a long time on ffnet (and I have no plans to do so in the future). So some functionalities are brocken with the newer versions of R, although the main functions still work with R-1.5.0.
