I once ran R with vsize=2Gb loooong ago (obviously with the old memory
system), just because I could.... :-) And I got away with it fine, it
did with it was supposed to do, and proved that I should take a
completely different approach to solve my problem... :-)
Unfortunately, I can't anymore... :-(
