[R] calling R-functions from C++ code

Hi,

I'm working with a C++ program, in which we would like to use some of the
existing R-functions, in this case a function which performs loess
normalization. My question is if it's possible to call this loess-function from
within my C++ code and how to do it?  How do I connect the R program to C++?
