[R] dxf() like bmp() or postscript()?

Assuming you have ghostscript, pstoedit might help. This converts Postscript
to various vector and bitmap formats, including DXF (so says the man page,
anyway -- I've only ever used it for fig format). pstoedit can be found at
http://www.geocities.com/wglunz/pstoedit/
A one-step from R would definately be nicer -- as Prof. Ripley pointed
out, a call for volunteers at this point is in order.
