[R] installing R for unix on PC

This is a bit tricky if you don't want
to lose data. The SuSe manual has clear
directions on
reclaiming space from Win to install Linux. BUT, personally,
I would buy a second hard disk: disks are not expensive
and this can save you a lot of trouble (unless you are
willing to re-format your current disk).
