[R] POLYGON: fill pattern instead of colors?

It's on my ToDo list, but with low-ish priority.
It would be useful to have something like this for on paper
reproduction.

If you have a one-off need, you could try using the xfig driver
(or postscript and pstoedit) and use xfig to change the fill from
solid to patterned.
