[R] R on Mac OS X: success

I've now succeeded in building R 1.2.3 on a Macintosh running OS 10.0.3.
If anyone wants any details, please let me know.

That I tried at all is due to the fact that someone put some info 
about it in the INSTALL document. That in turn means that someone had 
already been working on it. Thank you very much!
