[R] Help with large datasets

I was having this same problem on a Sun OS machine, but then just
increased the "stacksize" with "limit stacksize 10000" and it ran ok. (I
had already increased the memorysize (using "limit memorysize") to the
maximum and was having this same problem despite using a machine that has
3GB of physical RAM.)

So, if you are using csh, then perhaps changing the stacksize (whatever
that is) will help!
