[R] Integration over multiple dimensions

The two are unrelated. adapt was and is in package integrate.
There is a completely different integrate() function as part of base R,
with capabilities closer to those of the S function of the same name
(and with no licensing complications).
The integrate package has been moved to Archive on CRAN.
