[R] Memory and segmentation faults

After the segfault, I restarted R and had some strange behaviour
(i.e., could not find anything for ?Memory). I've restarted the
machine and it seems to work.
I'm pretty sure the segfaults are due to my machine. I'm
geting another one sometime (hopefully) soon. If the same behaviour
goes on with the new machine, I'll fill the bug report.
