Word does not recognize the standard device independent screen
preview, Encapsulated PostScript Interchange format (EPSI). But
it understands TIFF and Metafile previews.

Open the PostScript file in GSview, than select from the menu
bar:

    Edit
    -> Add EPS Preview
       -> Windows Metafile
          -> Save as [EPS Files (*.eps)]

Unless you have a PostScript printer or use something like
Ghostscript to print your Word document, the preview will be
used to print the figure. The preview is just a bitmap. The
resolution of the bitmap depends on how large you had the image
displayed in GSview at the time of adding the preview.
