[R] building packages in Windows under R 1.2.1

Hmmm ... "t:" is a "drive letter", right? Is this a networked drive? I don't
usually see drive letters that far down in the alphabet for drives on the
machine where I'm running. Local drives are usually a: (the floppy), c: (the
main hard drive), etc. If it is a networked drive, check to see that it's
connected to the right share on the right server.

I have extensive experience with ActivePerl from ActiveState, but there is
another version. The two are supposed to be (more or less) the same, but there
may be one subtle difference that is enough to sink R. Which one do you have?
