This has been a general goal of mine for the last year or so.  I have
several working (but inelegant) R modules for analysing ecological
assemblage organization, but have not yet gotten around to implementing
some of the really useful multivariate stuff (ala' PC ORD) that is not in
R.  I'd like to discuss this further with interested ecologists, and of
course I'd be happy to share what I've already written.  I haven't
contributed it yet because it doesn't conform to R package standards.

I'm on sabbatical next year....
