I am currently using R 1.2.1 on both Windows 2000 Professional and Red Hat
Linux 7.0. I like the Windows 2000 GUI better than the X-Windows/KDE GUI, and
I haven't experienced extension development, so I can't comment there. I would
say "do both", but if you can only support one, pick the Windows version.
